Eddie Jay Chacon

Eddie Jay Chacon was born and raised in Romeo, Colorado in the beautiful San Luis Valley. He is the baby of his family. His parents are Eddie and Cecilia and has four older sisters Lori, Victoria, Bobbi, and Emily. He attended Centauri High School where he was a three sport varsity athlete (Football, Wrestling, Track and Field). He received numerous athletic and academic honors while in high school. Highlights of his prep career include winning a state wrestling title his senior year (runner-up his junior year) as well as winning the national title at Rocky Mountain Nationals, and winning the All-State games his senior year. His track team won the Class 3A Team title both his sophomore and junior years of high school. He also placed 5th in the shot put.
After high school, Eddie Jay attended Brown University (Ivy League baby!) where he continued to wrestle. After his freshman year of college, Eddie Jay chose to turn in the wrestling shoes and became a member of the men's volleyball and rugby teams. Eddie Jay majored in Political Science and was a very active member in the Brown community and his fraternity Delta Tau.
Currently, Eddie Jay is living in Boulder, CO. He is the varsity volleyball head coach, assistant wrestling coach, and assistant track (throws) coach at Nederland High School. In his spare time Eddie Jay loves to be in the outdoors (fishing + hunting = this country boys life), is very passionate about music (Red Rocks season is quickly approaching!!), playing volleball, and spending time with his fifteen nieces and nephews.
